Wow!
13. October 2008 by admin.
Sorry for waiting so long to post: we have had a LOT going on.
Real quick, let me get you up to date. We have a total of close to 100 children, youths, and young adults who have come to our our after school program and Wednesday night services over the last couple weeks, although thankfully not all at once. We are averaging approximately 30 per day. So far in the Wednesday night services, we have had three youths give their lives to Christ. Praise God!
In addition to this, we took an outing in the church van to “Judgement House”, a room to room drama put on by the people at Watson Chapel Baptist Church, that traces the lives, deaths, and afterlives of 4 different people. We had three MORE make decisions for Christ last night. Praise God again!
Of course, I do have to caution that we can never really know for sure if someones confession of faith is legitimate or not: but regardless, the impact made on ALL TEN of the Children we took was noticeable.
Besides all of that, the door to door and street evangelism is in full swing. The most notable encounters I had, was a two hour discussion with a Churches of Christ elder about Baptism and Music in Church, and a fifteen minute debate with a UPC pastor over the Trinity.
