The Battle Continues

Yes, yes, I know> I haven’t posted in two weeks.

Sorry.

We have been very busy with everything going on; let me bring you up to date.

First, it appears we will be staying here a bit longer. How long? Not too sure on that, but I am betting it will probably be until Christmas, or so.

Second, the evangelism continues. Unfortunately, other than a couple of members who have not been coming, whom I visited, starting to come again, there has been no visible fruits seen in the main service (We have seen significant growth in the Wednesday night youth service. Many of the young people I have witnessed to have began attending, praise God!) Though I have talked to many people about Christ, and I feel that the Holy Spirit was working on several of them, none have come to Sunday service. And although my prime motivation has always been, and WILL always be seeing people saved, it does get frustrating after the fiftieth person says “I’m coming Sunday”, and turns out to be the fiftieth fibber on an ever growing list.

*Sigh*

In any event, I have had a few funny encounters. One elderly man ran out of his garage door yelling “Out!Out!” while waving his arms in a rough imitation of one of those guys with the glowing sticks that guide the airplanes at the airport.

I also had an encounter with a 150 pound Husky/Wolf dog, with very sharp looking teeth, a very angry looking Great Dane, and a handful of excessively large unchained Rottweilers and Pit bulls. Apparently, big mean dogs get offended by the Gospel, too.

I have had some positive encounters. Lots of people that were in desperate need of the Biblical definition of repentance. A group of kids getting drunk in their front yard at 11:00 o’clock in the morning. Jehovah’s witnesses and mormons, too. Lot’s of those.

O.k. Now for the yucky part. I have a couple of needs and wonder if anyone out there would be willing to meet them. Number 1, I need gospel tracts. I had a couple thousand when I first came here, and I am getting low. I use different tracts for different occasions/people, and what I really need right now is million dollar bills and/or Giant Money . I believe these tracts stress repentance and right doctrine regarding salvation, without which, one cannot be saved.

Second, my family really wants to go home for Thanksgiving. This is going to cost some money. I thank God that He has seen fit to let diesel prices drop nearly 1.50 in the last few weeks, but even with that, the round trip is going to cost about 400 bucks, which we really do not have. If anyone can spare any amount, it would be greatly appreciated.

In regards to these two needs, you can either make a donation here
, you can mail it here OR in regards to the tracts, you can order them yourself from www.livingwaters.com and have them shipped to

Any way that you can help would be appreciated. Until Next time..
