Back home for a couple of weeks…
24. December 2008 by admin.
We are back in Angleton Texas: probably for 2-3 weeks. We are currently waiting on direction from God.
BUT WE WONT BE SITTING AROUND! In addition to some “tent making” that we must do, we are going to be doing some local evangelism in Brazoria County.
Please be in prayer for us, that God gives us some direction. We so dearly loved all the people at Immanuel Baptist Church, and wanted to accept their offer to stay on as staff, but Godmade it abundantly clear that our call was “outside the camp”. This is from the scripture used to call me into the ministry: I wish to post it for you here now…
Heb 13:13 Therefore let us go to him outside the camp and bear the reproach he endured.
Heb 13:14 For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come.
Thanks to all of those who have given their time in prayer, for the donations, and for your love. We will continue to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. Now lets go outside the camp, and proclaim the word: Jesus is out there, waiting…

So much to talk about…
7. December 2008 by admin.
I know, I know. It’s been a month since I have posted: sorry.
I have been working like crazy trying to edit together the witnessing clips from election day: as many of you know, we were out all day at a local polling location, witnessing and handing out tracts all day. Me and Sauncere handed out between 300 and 400 gospel tracts, and witnessed to around 50 people. It was a very nice day> watch the video here…
Then of course, we went back to Texas for thanksgiving. I want to thank Brazosport Baptist Temple, in Angleton and Immanuel Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, for helping us get home. We love you more than you can ever know, and your care for us and God’s work is appreciated.
Lastly, while in Brazoria County, we made a early morning trip to all of the “Black friday” stores in the area, and witnessed to the lines outside. Myself, Pastor Steve Jensen, his daughters Savannah and Emma, and Jacob Henson, woke up at just after 3:00 in the morning, to get to the stores before 5:00. We handed out just under 400 gospel tracts, and I did some quick street preaching. I even got my first heckler!
I praise God for the zeal of pastors and churches who believe in the importance of evangelism, and especially for the zeal of these teenagers and youth. It is quite refreshing!
Till next time….
