Hard to blog…
Greetings to all in cyberspace! It has been a couple of months since I wrote a post. I have found that it is very difficult to get on here and write, with so many different things going on: school, ministry, kids, wife, etc. I will TRY to do better in the future: no promises though.
Let me just list out some things that have happened since my last post…
#1 The Youth Pastor at BBT resigned, and I was made the interim youth Pastor.
#2 Because of this, I am now taking the youth to “X Fuge on Mission” Bible camp in Glorieta New Mexico July 12-19. (I am REALLY looking forward to this!)
#3 I have been the Guest preacher at First Baptist Church Oyster Creek a couple of times. My latest sermon HERE.
#4 Took the youth out to the annual “4th of July” fireworks show in Lake Jackson, and passed out about 400 tracts. Savannah, one of my youth (who I am very proud of) is becoming quite the evangelist. She showed no fear speaking to people and engaging them in conversation. My own daughter, Eternity, is also getting her courage up: her and another young lady, Emma, passed out quite a few tracts. Jacob, our resident ‘guitar playing heart throb’ did good as well. And my lovely wife watched all the little ones, and kept them out of the street for us while we were working: Thanks Sauncere’!
#5 I was accepted into Liberty Baptist Theological Seminaries ‘Master of Divinity’ program. I begin that in the fall. I am VERY excited!
That should bring us up to date: ta ta for now!
